TCM PHILOSOPHY

Traditional Chinese Medicine is derived from Taoist medicine, follows the Taoist philosophy of Yin Yang principles. The human life is rooted to the Yin Yang of the universe. Everything thus is connected between human life and the cosmic energy, as well as mind, body and spirit are connected inside human body. Human life energy is connected with the cosmic energy through the skin pores and main 365 acupuncture points on the body. The balance of Yin (body fluids including blood and essence) and Yang (fire energy) is the key to maintain a good health and longevity. This way, people apply healthy-living principle to daily's life, focus on harmonizing body’s Yin Yang energy and prevent disease happening. This way of living is called as Yang Sheng in Chinese, a directly translation in English is “cultivation of life and health.”

TCM practices also follows Taoist principle of “Follow the way of Heaven, the things are done benefits all and harms none.” As we can see, the tools and medicine used for healings are simple and effective. The herbal medicine comes from the nature and easily returns to nature without causing any pollution. The treatments generally cause no side affects to the body.

There are twelve main meridians cover the surface of the body through acupuncture points. They forms a circus that Qi travel around without stop. ACUPUNCTURE THERAPY

Acupuncture, the original meanings of the healing in Chinese is “to correct” the unbalanced Qi and blood flows. By inserting the “correct Qi” to the acupoints to correct the Qi flow.

Any internal and external pathological factors can cause the disruption of energy and blood normal flow, which causes of the initial stage of the illness. When the correction of this disruption is quickly in action, the development of disease can be stopped quickly. If this Qi and blood abnormal flow are not able to be corrected in time, pathological factors can move to deeper level and further down in the channels and tissues. A severe condition starts to develop.

Acupuncture uses fine solid needles to insert into body to stimulate the local area. Practitioner uses hands to manipulate the needles to bring strong Qi to the needle. It helps to achieve opening, wakening, connecting, releasing, boosting our nervous and vascular system to allow our body retain to normal healthy conditions. Today, the needles are mostly stainless steel needles, that are sterile, filament-thin, flexible, single use and relatively pain less. These acupuncture needles are disposable, these is no chance to get cross infection with others.

Another commonly used alternative treatment is electricity acupuncture, which uses a continue or discontinue electric pulsation to the needles to give a strong stimulations. This can be a better solution for managing the pain-related conditions for some people.

Holographic theory is a part of Traditional Chinese Medicine systems. Any functional unit of our body such as hand, foot, ear, eye, nose, and so on can reflect a whole organic human body. Therefore, treating a small area of our body can profoundly effect to the whole body. This reflects that everything of body is connected and contains the information of the whole body. The practices we see so far, ancient acupuncture techniques include hand-acupuncture, foot-acupuncture, naval-acupuncture, auricular-acupuncture, eye acupuncture and so on. Some family or linage inherited techniques may focus on using one or a few styles. Some practitioners learns many systems and then develop some their own systems. So the effectiveness of the acupuncture is depended on the skill and knowledge of each individual practitioner.

2. Fire Cupping
Firing cupping is a traditional Chinese Medicine remedy and a Chinese cultural heritage. It is one of an oldest natural healing remedies been using in many
cultures. Fire cupping is commonly used as home in China. You can see many Grandmothers do cupping on their grandchildren when they are having
coughs. Fire cupping is a great remedies for treating cough, it takes coldness away from the lungs. Children's cough often is due to the coldness trapped inside lungs. Most of the time, cupping alone can very effectively treat cough. Nowadays, Kids also enjoy cupping for relaxation, rejuvenation. Cupping is one of the favorite natural healing remedies for my 8-years old daughter

In Traditional Chinese medicine, fire cupping was called as Jiao Liao (角疗). It was initially used for treat abscesses and carbuncles, later, it used to treat various conditions, and also used for releasing pain and relaxing muscles. Rejuvenate energy and promote blood flowing. Or adults it uses for all kinds of conditions. Combine with blood letting, which becomes very powerful healing tool, to take the toxin out of body, take the old blood out and clean up the meridians and channels.

How it works?
Tools includes cups, and clamps, cotton balls, 75-90% alcohol, a lighter, or a candle. Using a forced holding cotton balls which dipped with alcohol, then lighten up with fire, quick put the fire inside the container and move the fire out, the air inside the cups thus is pushed away, leaves the cup with a negative pressure or has a vacuum effect. Then, quickly put the cup on the skin where has more muscle and soft tissues.

Cupping helps to relaxed muscles, rejuvenation, promote blood and energy flow, and help to get rid of coldness, heat,
damp, old blood and toxins. Your health conditions can be identified based on the temporary cup print left on your
body after cupping. The location of the cupping will indicate the specific organs conditions. If the pint is:
1) Redness, indicating of heat
2) Pale red, when you touch, very cold. indicating internal coldness
3) Purple to black, indicating the different severity of blood stagnation and blood stasis
4) Moist and hardness, indicating dampness and water retention
5) Blisters, clear blister indication dampness toxin and severe water retention
6) Bloody blister, indicating blood toxin accumulation, or virus infection in your system

3. Blood letting is called Ci Luo(刺络), an ancient remedy being inherited in TCM, and are very commonly used in nowadays. It is very effective method for relieving pain that is caused by trauma injury and blood stasis. Blood letting method is an application of fire cupping. It uses the suction to get the old blood and toxin out on the affected area.
How to do it? Using a lancet to poke a hole on the skin or after acupuncture, then using fire cupping to suck out the toxic blood or puss on the affected area. It is very effective way to detox the affected area, promoting new blood and energy flow into the effective area. Once the old blood or toxin is removed, new blood is coming in and the healing process then starts. This method can bring an immediate effectiveness.

4. Electro-Multiple Pulsing Therapy

Electro-multiple pulsing therapy are using the same mechanism as electric acupuncture. The advantage is
that it produce multiple frequency of pulsation, so that it can avoid the body produce saturation and resistance
of the single pulsing like the electric acupuncture. This is the newly larger than needles, so it can provide the
stimulation in a much large area. This device has been widely used as self-healing home used device in China.
It is useful for sport injury recovery, muscle relaxation and many chronic conditions. It is a great therapeutic
device for treating hemiplegia such as for post-stroke conditions

德  PART II.

The Yin aspect of human life refers to internal virtue cultivation

The principle again is “By following the way of the sages, things are offered without wishing anything in return”. This wisdom teaches people to offer selfless service to society and the world, offering kindness and respect to other people, other cultures and to Heaven and Earth.

Each individual with great spiritual practice and openness to growth can become a sage-like being in the society where they live. “People can transform themselves into higher spiritual levels of kindness by practicing Tao. If one practices Tao continually, an ignorant person can grow to become a sage; if this practice is uninterrupted and continues, the person can grow indefinitely and reach immortality”. (Heavenly Joy Institute handbook).

This Taoist practice is for everyone on earth. If each individual carries on this worldly great virtue, the world will be in great peace and harmony.

Study of spiritual teachings and performing spiritual practices should begin early in one’s life. Starting at a young age, children should cultivate respect towards their parents, grandparents, teachers, and other elderly people, learning ways of offering love and caring, and learning respect for mother earth by reducing wasteful life-style practices.

Adults should focus on benefiting the world by learning the skills and technologies to help human kind as well as planet by offering kindness as much as they can. Taoism teaches us that a good human being should offer selfless service to others and the world.

The elderly should focus on offering love and compassion to the world through cultivating good virtue, a good heart and long life. If you are healthy and in a good mental state, you can help the world by sharing your deep wisdom and knowledge on living harmoniously with others and with nature. This can be passed on to the younger generations. This tradition is sadly missing in the world these days.

We dedicate to the Taoist wisdom of healings and be harmonious with all beings and the planet.

Our Spiritual Beliefs

We believe that a soul’s journey continues after death. A person's soul is an energy form existing as a part of a cosmic energy matrix. Each soul can be transformed to a form of consciousness through reincarnation, depending on its energy vibration. The more selfless services one does, the higher energy vibration one’s soul can have, thus the higher conscious level one's soul can reach. People can reach immortality and end the cycle of reincarnation through a great deal of selfless services to the world. In summary, we believe:

  • Selfless service furthers a soul’s progression in its journey

  • Spiritual growth can extend one’s life and make one’s life better

  • Healthy life transition generates a healthy soul

  • Healthy souls will reincarnate into healthy human beings

Birth and death are the two most important events in one's life. Sages told us that we should not take them lightly. No matter who you are, no one can escape death. No one can take any material things with them when they die. But one can take their virtue and wisdom with them; these are the things embedded inside one’s soul.

The earth has four seasons. Humans have five stages of growth: birth, growth, maturation, old age and transformation. Observing how a person dies, we can understand how this person lived. Life is a cycle like everything in the Universe. If a person is mindful and cultivates their mind, body and spirit throughout their whole life maintaining a healthy lifestyle and offering kindness to others, disease and illness can be avoided or decreased.

A beautiful and peaceful dying process and death are possible for everyone. Taoists considered a healthy ending of one’s life to be a great fortune. At later stages of human life, it is very important for people to forgive and be forgiven by others. Having forgiveness is a treasure we can take beyond this world into the next. If one can leave this world without any attachment, a soul is not forced to reincarnate. If it chooses to come back, it will have a good fresh start without burdens of past-life karma. One thus can have a healthier life in this life time. If everyone strives for a healthy soul transition, humanity will be healthier in the future, and the planet will be healthier, too.
